Announcing Skype-a-Thon 2017 – Open Hearts. Open Minds.
Skype-a-Thon is back on November 28th and 29th!!!
Microsoft is excited to announce our 3rd Skype-a-Thon, this year centered around the theme of ‘Open Hearts. Open Minds’. We know that when we can connect students from around the world to share interest, beliefs, projects and other fascinating subjects, we help bring awareness, understanding and sensitivity to the things that make all of us unique and what we have in common. This year’s theme encourages students to open their hearts and their mind to what’s possible and inspire them to dream big.
There’s so many ways to connect and learn during this year’s Skype-a-Thon, from playing Mystery Skype or visiting a classroom, to taking a virtual field trip, or hearing from a guest speaker. During last year’s Skype-a-Thon we traveled over 10million virtual miles and this year we want to exceed that target. Take a look at the action from last year’s event.
