Global2 teachers invited to the Edublogs challenge

For teachers who would to really like to get their heads around blogging and its potential for their students Edublogs is running its first Teacher Blogging Challenge of 2015!

Whether you are new to blogging, or want a refresher on all of the features that blogging can offer, come join us for our four week crash-course as we guide you through the process of blogging with students.

We’ll cover:

  • Setting up class and student blogs
  • Teaching quality comments and posts
  • Working with widgets
  • Images, copyright, and creative commons
  • Connecting with other classes
  • Tons more!

How Does It Work?

The Edublogs Teacher Challenge is completely free of charge and you are able to count the hours you participate and add them towards your Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration. (Great for CRTs)

Each Teacher Challenge session lasts for 30 days, with 2-3 tasks per week that will be sent to you via email. We’ll send the first challenge to you on February

Global2 is an Edublogs campus. This means that the Department of Education and Training (Victoria) has paid for Victorian teachers to use the top of the range technologies provided by Edublogs (Normally paid for by subscription) and the service is managed by the Digital Learning Team at DET with amazing support by Edublogs. I am sure many of you have been helped by Sue and the team there.     Would have loved to join this…. but am doing an intensive Adobe online PD at the moment… loving it… getting back into my blogging too…
    when is the next one? I was going to try to enrol… but it was too late in the end
