Inspired by SARK’s new incredibly inspiring and vibrant book “Juicy Pens Thirsty Paper”, Grade 4 students used book titles to describe their own personalities. The book is so colourful and “alive” with ideas for writing, the students took to these ideas immediately. I found the book particularly valuable because it is so visual which lends itself to blogging perfectl. It transforms post into something more than just words on paper! Students were invited to visit each others post and write a comment about each others personality based on the book titles. It became an interactive activity of sharing whilst providing valuable feedback.

Looks like this was a great learning experience and a bit of fun as well!
I highly recommend SARK’s Juicy Pens, Thirsty Paper. I think many of the exercises are perfect for children.

I too have just discovered SARK and I have been inspired to write myself. Must try this one with the kids as well. I saw the 6 word story as well which looked like loads of fun too. Well done.
