This new program includes a $4.8 million investment in new mental health support and a dedicated suicide prevention program. It’s the equivalent of 40,000 hours of hands-on mental health support. The Victorian Anti Bullying and Mental Health portal brings together resources that are available across government to help schools address bullying in its all forms, from physical threats to cyberbullying to verbal intimidation. The portal provides schools with the tools and resources they need to build a culture of respect and understanding, and to empower students to stand up and speak out when they see bullying.
