Hi to you all, hope you had a great break,

As you know Safer Internet Day is a global event held annually to promote the safe and responsible use of digital technologies, for children and young people.

The theme for 2017 is Be the change: Unite for a better internet.

It always happens early February which is usually a mad rush for us all but every year it amazes me the effort you all put in to getting your kids organised for the day.

But we have a couple of events we invite you and your students to attend.
Primary Schools

The Department, in partnership with the Office of the Children’s eSafety Commission is delivering two free online seminars on Tuesday 7 February 2017 for primary students in Years 4, 5 and 6. Both sessions will take place in the Department’s Virtual Conference Centre (VCC).

  • Session one – 9:20am to 10:10am
  • Session two – 2:00pm to 2:50pm
