Global2 (formerly Globalteacher) is an Edublog campus site which means these sites are ad free and have other features not available on standard Edublogs blogs. As a campus site you can use all Edublogs support materials to assist you as you start with blogging. Teachers are asked to respect the legal and moral obligations of using the Global2 blogging environment and that they work within the guidelines contained within DEECD’s Learning On Line website.

The Learning On Line website presents the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development’s advice for schools on cybersafety and educating young people to be responsible users of mobile and digital technologies. This website has been developed to help schools make the most of the opportunities presented by new developments in, and increased accessibility to digital technologies. At the same time it aims to support schools to minimise risks that may arise through the use of these technologies.

The Learning On Line Website contains information related to the following;

• Leading including information on Staff Use of Digital Technologies, Advice on Community Engagement and Contact details related to use of online spaces

• Managing including information related to Duty of Care, Permission Templates, School Internet Management and Digital Copyright and Online Privacy

• Educating including information related to Cybersafety, My Digital World, a collection of teaching ideas for Safe and Responsible Use of Digital Technologies plus Professional Learning resources

• Empowering including information related to Students engaging and participating online including vox pop videos
